Have you seen the 52 Week Money Challenge from Coupon Spice? Well, we have re-vamped it! We had some requests for a REVERSE 52 Week Money Challenge, so here it is!
This concept is really simple. Every week, just deposit the amount of money listed into a specified savings account. The regular challenge is Week 1: $1, Week 2: $2 and so forth. The Reverse challenge is Week 1: $52, Week 2: $51, Week 3: $50.
Both ways will net you close to $1400 over 52 weeks! So cool, right? If you would like the Reverse 52 Week Money Challenge, just click the image above. If you would like the Regular 52 Week Money Challenge, you can get it here: 52 Week Money Challenge
That sounds like a great, easy way to save money! Thanks for the tip!
I keep seeing the challenge on Facebook. I think it’s a great idea if you can promise yourself you will wait the entire 52 weeks to touch the money!
Whenever I saw this challenge on Facebook, I always thought that the reverse made more sense! Thanks for creating one.
I love that challenge, and if I weren\’t already a gigantic saver, I\’d do it. I pretty much save everything I can!
This looks really interesting, but sadly I’m not so good with these things; I feel like I’m a little confused.
I think this is SUCH a smart strategy to get you saving without feeling the sting of putting money aside. I did something similar in the past to buy a smartphone and I really didn’t feel the effect on my finances. 😀
wonderful Blog!!!
Thanks for sharing
This sounds really interesting! I have a lot of problems with saving. I tend to spend my money in books, not a bad thing but still spending, and then I don’t have anything at the end of the month. This is definedly something I should try out!
Ive never heard of this challenge I will have to check it out
I am just about to start doing this challenge as well and was going to whip of a graphic too. Though I am going to do the regular instead of the reverse, even if I use tax time as a way to get in payments for the higher priced weeks!
I really like this plan. I just had a talk with my sophomore in college. He\’s excited about do it.
This is pretty awesome and so new to me. It is now 2:34a and I just convinced my husband to start this challenge. I’m so excited! Thanks for sharing.
I actually decided to do the 52 week challenge this year, but now I’m thinking it might be better to do it in reverse. Get the more expensive stuff out of the way! Thanks for sharing!
In all its simplicity, this is such a brilliant idea. We start small and save big. I love it.

I like the idea of the reverse money challenge because I can afford to put more away each week due to tax season and it is harder to save that much when it is Christmas season!! Plus I like to use this challenge as my Christmas budget.
