Tonight, we decided to make breakfast for dinner. For us, that included some thick-cut bacon, over-easy eggs and my husband’s perfect pancakes. I wanted to add a little dessert option, so I cooked up some of this super-simple Candied Bacon. It is SOOOO unbelievably good. Seriously. You will want to make extra, because it will go fast!
The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the bacon. I prefer thick-cut bacon, but it will take a little longer to cook. The brown sugar will caramelize around the bacon to absolute perfection! YUM!
Lay Bacon on Cooking Rack, and Place the Cookie Sheet Under it (to Catch Bacon Drippings)
Sprinkle Additional Brown Sugar on the top of the Bacon
Cook in the Oven 20 to 30 minutes until Just Crisp ***Hint*** Cooking Time will Vary Depending on the Thickness of the Bacon. I prefer Thick-cut Bacon, and mine took around 28 minutes to perfection.
